Guardian: Father’s sister (Primary caregiver)

Background: Both parents deceased during the COVID-19 pandemic

On 31st December 2024, Changathikkoottam Charitable Trust received an application from the relatives of Master Adwait Krishna requesting financial assistance for the purchase of essential medicines. Adwait, a 14-year-old autistic child, lost both his parents during the COVID-19 pandemic and is currently being cared for by his paternal aunt.

 

On-site inspection done by our team and report submitted on 2nd January 2025

After reviewing the request and conducting an onsite assessment, the matter was discussed in the trustee meeting held on 8th January 2025. Based on the evaluation and the financial needs presented, the trust unanimously decided to extend monthly support of ₹2,000 towards Adwait’s medication expenses.

 

This amount is being paid directly to KTN Medical Hall, Cherpulassery, ensuring the funds are utilised solely for the intended medical purposes. This support will be monitored on a monthly basis with the possibility of extension or revision based on updated reports and the family’s situation.

 

Changathikkoottam remains committed to standing by vulnerable individuals like Adwait and offering support that helps improve their quality of life.
